Welcome to Japan Metal Guide! 


Originally, JMG was a zine developed by founder Rich "Kro" Kropecek as a way to help English-speaking metalheads access the Japanese metal scene. The zine is still available for free in hardcopy format and is produced on a bi-monthly basis.
This site is to serve as a supplement to the zine, not necessarily replace it. As it is difficult to announce shows and relay other time-sensitive information to fans, the JMG team found it compulsory to create this site. Here you will find information on shows, venues, bands, and other things related to the Japanese metal scene. 
We will try to provide the most complete information concerning these topics, however we are foreigners in this land limited to our own knowledge and experience. If you would like to submit information about upcoming shows or anything metal related, please email us at dark_corpse666@yahoo.com. 


当ジャパン・メタル・ガイド（以下JMG）は、創設者リッチ・クロパチェックの、日本のメタルシーンを英語圏の人々に紹介したいという熱い思いから生まれました。月に二度発行されるフリーペーパーです。
